ShareVermont's Frequently
Asked Questions
Why must I purchase a Vegetable Farm Share in order to get the others?
In order for shipments to be efficient, we can only offer Meat and Cheese Farm Shares in addition to Vegetable Farm Shares. If you would like to get together with a friend or neighbor and combine a meat farm share with a vegetable farm share, we encourage this. If you have a custom order totaling over $1000, let us know and we can help make those arrangements with you.
What will I get in my Farm Share?
Farm Shares will likely consist of beets, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, peas, cucumbers, summer squash, onions, potatoes, green beans, spinach, garlic, yellow beans, tomatoes, pea pods, purple beans, kohlrabi, radishes, celery, Swiss chard, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, garlic scapes, snap peas, red onions, zucchini, acorn squash, melons, butternut squash, buttercup squash, delicata squash, pie pumpkin, jack-o-lantern pumpkin, carrots, turnips, potatoes, winter squashes, sweet corn and strawberries, and tomatoes from our greenhouses as long as possible. For the monthly layout of what is available when, check out our Vegetable Chart.
